AGM batteries (Absorbent Glass Mat) contains a special glass mat separator that wicks the electrolyte solution from the battery plates. As the inverter battery works, the electrolyte is transferred from the glass mat to the battery plates as and when required. The mat present within AGM batteries contains enough electrolytes for inverter batteries to deliver total capacity and prevent damage to inverter batteries during deep discharge cycles.
