India on July 22 used the United Nations Security Council’s high-level debate on peace and multilateralism to call for strict accountability for cross-border terrorism and a long-overdue reform of the UN’s top decision-making body, even as the Council unanimously adopted Resolution 2788 (2025) to strengthen peaceful dispute resolution mechanisms under Chapter VI of the UN Charter.
