Ordinarily, I would be loath to gloat about a man losing his family and livelihood, but in this particular case, he deserved it. In very brief summary, hubris was his downfall. Ever since RockingMrE went AWOL in spring of 2022, I assumed that Cid Lazarou turned over a new leaf in the hopes of salvaging whatever remained of his relationship with his daughters (even if, in all likelihood, they're not his biologically) and with his ex-wife (if nothing else, for the sake of their daughters), not to mention his career prospects (as he no longer had a working wife to mooch off of to maintain a NEET lifestyle). I suppose I gave him too much credit. Narcissists tend to lack capacity for self-reflection. All self-obsession, no self-reflection... Instead of asking himself, how he may have destroyed his own reputation via his increasingly radical ideological descent, or how his obsessive vlogging alienated his wife, he doubled down on the same vices. "I wuz a good boi! I dindu nuffin!" And now he continues to grift off of his sycophants for support. It's fun watching his downward spiral continue. Any bets on how it all will end?
