The Future Now - also known as the Futurists - is a cult-like organization that isn't evil per se, but is overzealous. They believe that humanity should shed their organic forms and become robotic beings, and view you as their messiah, their prophet, their deity even. Richard seeks to use your status to convert himself and his followers into similar forms, and in service of that will be blindly loyal to you if you choose to allow him to serve you - so long as he can study your new body.
